As above really.

This morning, got a bit of open space after about half way into my commute, and tyres were pretty warm, and it was dry (! Praying ) and not too cold.

So blipped the throttle and slipped the clutch, did my first high wheelie - albeit not very far, about 10/15 yards - and held it at what i felt was the balance point, obviously I need to do a fair many more to actually know this Smile

But it broke up my commute, and I had the biggest grin on my face when i got work.

What do you do to make your commute better? Or dont you?

Clothing, route? Something I cant imagine?

I dont have many good roads on the way to work - so a diff route isnt really an option for me.

Thumbs Up

I turn the heater on and turn up the radio... Rolling Eyes sorry...

my commute is too short to enjoy, takes longer to put my gear on than if i go on the bike. wen i go back to uni i might use the bike again as i wont have to pay to park but even then its just a case of trying to get there and back in 1 piece lol

I get my knee down most days.

But just being on the bike itself is good enough, passing zillions of cars on the north circular

Even in this weather? Nice one Thumbs Up

Ive been so fed up of being careful and smooth and not whopping the power on too early, when it was dry this last couple of days, I just got a big buzz from being able to be a bit faster, little bit more careless (even though I shouldnt - the roads are just as dangerous - the deisels still there lol) but it just feels better.

Knowing that i'm going to be there in half the time it would take in a car...
Passing all the boxes stuck in the Q's
My fav, making them go at MY speed between the lights..... I will teach the studid idiots that you can time it right so you do not have to brake between the sets of lights....

I dont really think about timing at the lights and stuff. I just like to be able to get to the front of every queue Smile

And when you hit VERY heavy traffic, its so satisfying to think that it wont hold me up at all.

My major pet hate is the bastard train crossings. I have tried so many vriations on the time I set off, but I still seem to catch the train going past 3/4 time!

So I tend to let my imagination run away

not letting the speedo drop below 80 on a DR350 makes the commute interesting.

Just get there as quickly as possible , which is easy cus its grid lock all the way there , and filtering space is easy.
