Ok how bout this one then .... 3 people split the cost of a £30 vacuum cleaner ,they all give £10 each to a friend of theirs to go buy it for them, the guy gets to the shop and the price is reduced to £25 so he keeps £2 for his troubles which leaves £3 change so he returns £1 to each of the people who shared in the cost .. now if they have got £1 back they spent £9 each which makes £27 in total and the guy kept £2 for going taking the total to £29 so wheres the other £1 gone
