Getting chain lube off

Since i havent installed a scottoiler yet on my new bike im lubing the chain with a can and it seems to be going all over my back wheel (probably using too much i know).
Whats the best thing to use to remove it? I've tried alloy wheel cleaner with a good brush and it does nothing, this shit is like araldite x10!
Any tips?

have you tried gunk,parrafin,wd40 ?

Tried wd40, didnt seem to do much. Parrafin is a good idea, will try that next.

Spray the chain lube on what you want to get off. The solvents in the can will remove the old lube.

Aerosol brake cleaner is the (expensive) schnizzle. Do not use brake fluid (it will strip the paint)

I always use WD40 sprayed on a rag comes off a treat.
