Looks good though.

I take all the negative comments back that I may have said about the RF's.

Some parts will work from bandits on the rf600r.

Yes some will.

The top brake light is the same.

And I think the engine is based on the gsxr 750 lump.

I cant understand why the RF was so universally slated when it came out, bloody good basic bike in my opinion, the 900 even more so Razz , and the styling was definately an improvement over the jellymould cbrf.

My one guzzles fuel aswell, just had the carbs balanced though so will see how it goes now. (Its also got a dynojet kit so that may not help!!)

They didnt have a hugger as standard.

right silly question, how much is it roughly to have someone reset the fuelling on the rf, as im not very mechanically strong in this department and dont wish to bugger it all up seeing as i have just got the bike,,a ive fitted the viper can as you all know but im just wondering if it would need a little adjustment as i think it smells a little rich/lean on fuel and also how to reset the front calipers one of my 2 fronts has about half a mm to 1mm of play going on and for some reason my bike is extremely difficult at times to push about the yard

It was an hours labour for me to get the carbs balanced but a lot of people do it themselves.

Sounds like you have a seized caliper on the front as you should have some play on both calipers i believe.

The exhaust will be interchangable with the old bandit 1200's zx6r's from pre 00/01, Triumph TT600/Speed Four/Daytona. Basically any can with the 3 bolt fitment. Apart from the fireblade ones, they have a bigger bore.
