Saw this and bought it for the Bandit. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with stubby cans and this one has riveted ends so I thought I could drill them out, cut a section off and redrill/ rivet the end back on.

Hope it works but the can was only 62.50 with free postage so it's worth a shot Wink

I though stubby cans were the in thing? I have never heard of D&D before Embarassed and just thought it was a cheapish aftermarket can. If not then I may keep it as it is.

Stubbied my own can.
SS Pipes are easier and better for stubbying than Carbon fiber weave cans as they dont fray when you re drill and rivet them.

Heres my Stubby I made.

Well I may have to stick it on first and check out the sound. If it sounds loud enough and offensive enough as it is then I will have to stubby it to really piss off the neighbours Wink

https://i12.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/c6/70/c31c_1.JPG

To the tune of £50.50 delivered.

When it comes i'll see what i can do, I'm estimating maybe 2" off the bad end, Turn the bad end around 180 degrees and de-strap both ends Thumbs Up

Ben's stubby was ear-piercingly LOUD! I believe he had 2, after one of them "popped off" Shocked on the way to the ace! Nevertheless it certainly made everybody know that we were here (made my micron race can on my 6R seem legal!) Shocked

Well it turned up and I fitted it at lunchtime. Sounds the nuts. I took a vid on my phone but cant transfer the bugger from my phone to my pc let alone go from there.

Any ideas? The Nokia I have I believe is the 6233. It came with some software but it keeps crashing so all I can do is download the pictures using the standard plug and play. Sad

You should be able to get the memory card out and just put it into a card reader..

Now I know thats not spanish but it may as well be Laughing

Yes the memory card comes out. What kind of card reader do I buy and what does it do apart from the obvious of reading cards? Will it convert the video files so they can be played on the pc?

You may not even have to buy a card reader mate.

Have you recently purchased a laptop? I know this sounds backwards lol but most modern laptops - circa 2003/2004 - have SD slots Smile (SD being the memory card, not implying you dont know, but wasnt sure mate)

More often than not the actual card reader wont convert them - but im not an expert.

If its from a phone, its a good bet the video will be in 3GP file format, or MPEG4, quicktime or realplayer tends to play both Smile

Is it a mini memory card mate? erm..or is it about an inch by and inch?

Yes but I cant take vids with it as far as I know, the camera is a fuji finepix a607. It wont take my phone memory card.

No, just have the pc and thanks for the translation on SD Very Happy Thumbs Up

3GP file but pc wont recognise it. I have flash player, windows media player and realplayer Sad

Yes the memory card is a mini one. The pc will pick up the phone on the plug and play and will transfer the pictures and music files using windows media but no matter what I try it wont even attempt to download or take the video files.
