on the bike and changed it for a
sh609-12
8.6
Will it go all wrong. Shocked
I have not started it but will be driving it all tomorrow and see what happens. Smile

Dunno but I doubt it, both are 5 pin connectors and fit the CBR so the chance is that they are just different shapes. Isn't the one you fitted the one without cooling fins, noted for having problems? I know you can't get it anymore because it got replaced with something better.

You could test it easily enough.

And if you've got one without cooling fins, raid the back of a cupboard for that old unused PC that got stuffed there when you upgraded. Nick the heatsink off the top of the processor and zip tie it to the regulator to at least improve the cooling a bit.
