exhaust help please...

My insurance company want to know how much bhp the exhaust system on my xj600 will give over the standard system.

It's a nexus 4-1 system?

Any ideas anyone?

I'd guess about 5 bhp at the rear wheel.

If your lucky and re-jetted the bike to suit. Most performance exhausts struggle to gain 5% on sports bikes.

I would tend to say none looking at the Motad site.

Only up side is less weight.

Also looking at their site. It seems you can buy parts for the system so you may be able to just get a new link pipe to sort your leak. Thumbs Up

Good link there m8,i was looking for the site but didnt realise it was a motad.I was looking for nexxus Embarassed

But if you look at that pic in the link you posted there,where the back box seperates to 2 pipes in a V shape.Thats where mine has rusted.Thats why i cant get clamps on it...
