At the moment i am riding without mirrors on my hornet, its not for me...
Im not feeling the standard stork mirrors, anyone here ride with bar ends?

Its gotta hinder your filtering right?
is it possible to buy retractable ones that can be quickly folded away so the end of my (renthal) bars is once again the widest point?

Or, If you dont like or have any experience of bar end mirrors recommend me a pair for my hornet

Yea i was just thinking having one, maybe left, lifesavers on the right anyway...

You say filtering is no problem but can you still HUSTLE the bike through traffic, or do you have to make allowances for them.

Foldaway ones must exist somewhere...

ive always used my right mirror and not the elft one.

sometimes you have to slow down and take it easy, but most of the time i used to rag it through traffic Laughing

These are the closest thing i have found, Anyone use the motrax ones, is that a hinge under the mirror that would allow it to be swing in?

Apparently Motrax ones are crap.
The mirrors keep falling out of vibrating too much.

Ones Ive had recommended to me are either CRG (american and expensive) or Oberon Performance (British....and expensive...)

CRG Lane splitters:

Those ones are perfect (CRG), just what i was thinking, pity about the price like you say. It will have to be standard mirror for now then those when i got some spare sheddies.

I had a bicycle on one of my bikes years ago. It worked quite well and didnt cost the earth.

It was similar to this one.

Reppy: Thanks wouldent like to order from the US, when i get 50 quid spare... well after i buy my braided brake lines ile be getting one of those.

Jamie: decent find, and at a reasonable price, not mad about the look of it... An option though, cheers.

Mick: I will have a poke around halfords tomorow on the back of that, even though that looks about as secure as a vinegar soaked chip bag, i dont need the mirrors on all the time, would just be nice to pull something like that out of my pocket and pop it on for Motorways/Dual carriageways, then when coming into traffic off it pops...

Keep the ideas coming. Any other mirrors bar end or not that people can recommend? (10mm fixing i think on my hornet)

These will be the best you can get for bar end mirrors...

https://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/adjustable-handlebar-clamp.html

They also have others listed on the site.

The model in the link should do, they say ajustable but looking at the fold points it looks like all you have to do is fold them up a little bit, or completely back, perfect for filtering.

I'd definitely get ones that fold. I had some from the streetfighter store and all though they looked trick they didn't fold. Lost one dropping the bike, it was the first thing to touch down.
