Has anyone done any back to biking lesson's? I've got my cbr600 but haven't really been on a bike for about 4 years, and am getting it in the neck from the wife that it'll be dangerous for me to keep riding with no refresher training.
What do you all think is it worth it or will just getting out there for a while be ok.

To be honest if you drive you'll still have the road skills and 4 years is not too much. I bet 30 seconds after starting off it will have all come flooding back.

If you are really scared about it do a DAS type day for erm a day, advanced training stuff as a refresher course,

The cheap way it to get out there and ride, find a leader probably of your region off the BCF and get them to show you,

You never forget how to ride a bike,just get out there and do it.

If you dont feel safe on it then maybe think about a couple of lessons...

Or get something with ABS ? , although complex heavy and expensive for people who haven't ridden long or have been away for a while its useful.

My last lay-off was nine years long. Then I bought a 2nd-hand RRW Blade and was straight back into it without any issues at all. As already mentioned, it's like riding a bike.
