Motocross boots for everyday use?

Been looking for new boots and have always like the rally type ones but was wondering if anyone uses them for every day use and if they look daft with jeans over them (if jeans can fit over them or are the calves too big?).

and indeed if they are comfortable to wear as an everyday boot? thinking of getting something like:

Seen a few couriers and my old advanced riding instructor used to so I assume if they fit properly they should be all day comfortable.

crosser boots from my expeirience are extremely stiff and when i used to race wrecked my feet and were a perfect fit, they are super strong though, so would offer great protection, also someone i know, his gf/wife bought him some crosser boots and he had an R1 and he soon traded em for road boots. but maybe certain boots arnt that bad?

i tried some like those the other day alpinestar tech 4`s and i could hardly get my toes under the gear shifter. And i couldnt get my jeans over the top Thumbs Down

but i have been looking at the tech 3 and they are nice boots not too chunky either

Ive used crosser boots for the last 14 years. Had a couple of tec 3s and now have oxstar crosser boots. very confy ( but squeek) Can and have worn them all day.

Some off road boots are better than others. You can get off-road styled boots designed for road riding too, I believe.

Think about how your legs rest when your rideing, between a crosser and a sportsbike (not to mention crossers you'll tend not to be siting all that much anyway if your doing it propperly Razz

)

Sidi make some "sidi couriers" there what I'll be having next myself.

I do think that if your bike riding position is similar to somebody about to dive into a swimming pool then there probably not going to be much fun at all.
