I am looking at getting some gear sorted with BCF details on

Visor stickers, Embroidered shirts etc

Would anyone buy this stuff or would I be wasting my time and money?

Korn'll prob get a percentage before anyone rants........

(Not told him yet though!!!)

Yes - but at this point in time it would need to be xxxxL!!

One suggestion if you do T shirts and decide to do white I would do another colour like black too as a lot of people prefer not to wear white as it gets dirty and in the hippys case because it isn't cool!

This has been talked about much. We always return to one sticking point... what we're going to use for a logo etc.

Maybe this is time to yet again resurrect one of the logo threads Rolling Eyes.

Something like a visor sticker I would probably buy. I could probably be tempted by a t-shirt as well but doesn't that just bring the logo thing back up? Confused

No one will decide on a Logo so I reckon we either get Korn to choose one or if I am going to get the stuff made, I will just sort one myself? Maybe it's just easier to choose a font rather than a logo and then we could just have a nice simple BCF or the URL on the items.

Perhaps people contribute their logs and if Korn and co decide if there are a few good ones put it to a poll with Korn and co keeping an eye on IP's to check it dosnt get fixed?

Please note - was typing this at the same time as the above one was posted Laughing

For the visor sticker, just the URL would look good.

As for the T-shirts the logo thread will have to be brought back again. Something simple would look good.

A small logo and the letters 'BCF' would go well. As mentioned it's just the logo that is the problem.

Hasn't this been done before? The end result being that nobody could decide what logo to use.

Sounds good idea to me.

What about anyone else?
Any better ideas

No one has ever actually decided on one so I suggest the following.

If you wish to offer a logo up for the choosing, I will be happy for you to mail them to me. I will also add the ones that Bendy put up on her site. I'll make a poll and then it'll be decided - SIMPLE!!!!!

You have 7 days to get your applications in. One thiung to keep in mind is that simple is better as a full colour print costs more to have done than a single colour.

Remember K.I.S.S.

Keep it simple, stupid!!

Would definitely be up for some BCF gear, think ill stay out of the logo 'competition' though, and go with the winning design Smile

Visor stickers? Wouldn't that get in your line of sight, unless it was tiny fonts, and in which case, is there a point to it if its that small no one could see it?

I think a sticker/logo/some kind of design for the front screen would be good idea. Would definitely use/buy one of them.

There is a section at the top of most visor/helmets where a line of text would not get in the way and still be big enough to read.

I wouldn't mind what this picture has...

https://www.ukrsclub.com/albums/album01/1_G_001.jpg (From the Photos forum)

I reckon some screen URLs like his Aprilla Forum ones, but with www.bikechatforums.com on 'em might be good.

Wouldn't mind some for my bike.

I was thinking for something for the bikes. For those who have a sports bike have one at the top of the screen or one on each side If you don't want anything on the screen maybe the fairing.
Sort of like sponsors you see on race bikes.
As pictured in the image above on the screen.

My Aprilia had them on it, maybe because it was a replica.

As for the visor sticker I have seen them and they don't seem to block your view in anyway as the top of the visor covers a section of the helmet.
They would look particularly good with white text on a blacked out or coloured visor.
Not quite sure what colour would go with a clear one. Maybe white again.

Probably no one else will agree with me, but i was planning on making a BCF T-shirt with my logo on the front + back and my username underneath. Maybe we should do something similar? Not as practical as a single logo non username t-shirt i'll admit, but we'd get to see who everyone is and we'd all be wearing our own T-shirts .

I'm all for visor strips, I was also going to get some BCF decals made for the NSR i don't yet have Laughing . Just a thought.

I was thinking about adding usernames / actual names, for those who prefer, to the stickers / tie pins / cufflinks / money clips / wallets / keyrings ... Smile

Think it would personalize it a little bit more and obviously just an option, people dont have to.

If someone could just make a 1/2 half decent logo... okay there have been a /few/ alright attempts... however none have really captured the 'bcf' spirit to me.
Maybe it should just be a pic of some geek sitting at a comp on irc Razz.

You can never have enough t-shirts, I reckon.

Something understated is cool, not like orange...just nice and simple.

Oh and no white, because I get spagetti down me... unless you're intending to sell bibs too.
