well, tomorrow i go in for my bone graft opermaration...
its to repair a scaphoid bone that i broke last october and didnt realise it was broken until i got it x-rayed by chance.
so nows the day to fix it! off to derriford on the 5th at 7:30am to get the following:

1: bone bits and bad cartilage hacked out of my wrist

2: get a bit of bone hacked out of my hip

3: wedge the hacked out bit of bone in between the broken bit

4: ram a screw through the 2 broken halves to secure the bone sandwich...

sounds fun, im looking forward to it! plus i get 3 months paid leave its at derriford if you want to stop by and give me some food and money.

first one is the wrist when i let it out of its cast for a min or 2...
2nd is the hip, note 3 stitches holding 2 inches of flesh together... nice one NHS, i bet they didnt use more thread due to thread tax.
