Well, i'm fed up with my jacket.
Today it leaked pretty badly, only on the end of the arms though, but as a result the water ends up traveling down into my gloves Confused
Certianly not impressed with Dainese quality.

Anyway, could anyone recomend a good jacket, preferably for both winter and summer, but winter is the most important to me.
Don't really want to spend more than around 250, but may stretch a little if i think it would be worth it Razz

Thanks Wink

I bought a Weise Dynastar second-hand of a mate for £20 last year, cracking jacket never let me down. There's one on eBay at the moment for £25'ish but it's a small, it may not be your size but you get the gist. Thumbs Up

Is what I'm using and its near faultless, only gripe I have is with a little of the trim on the right cuff looking tatty (Its purely a zip cover and all the others are fine so its likely a 1 off).

It was perfectly wearable through the summer with the inner liner popped out, and so far its kept me warm and dry through some pretty heavy wind and rain. Its a bit pricey, but well recommended imho Thumbs Up

I have rk sports textiles (jacket and trousers) and cant fault either of them. I have never been wet yet and rode in some pretty shite wet weather over the last couple of months.

Picked up some Weise gear, second hand off fleabay. Quality seems good, as does the protection. Due for a bit more waterproofing but otherwise pretty darn good for about £60 for both jacket and trousers.

Oh, and more pockets than you can shake a stick at Laughing

Arlen ness jackets are pretty good too for waterproofing and warmth. Had a big huge padded, multi pocketed army green thing, which is a little too warm tbh, which is starting to lose its waterproof qualities, in particular around the zip.

Worth a browse on ebay for arlen ness gear.

Personally I have found Regata Over trousers and Over waterproof tops to be the best for waterproof and breathability.

Previously I have had textiles, which let in water

And also all in one overs, which made me swet.

They go everywhere with me, had them about 6 months now. Probably cost about £45 all together. I simply bought really large sizes ie XXL to go over my jacket.

I wear leathers underneath.

Lidle, Aldi, Netto. Take your pick, top gear at bottom price and as about as fashionable as Cliff Richards.

I've used the same Aplinestars Drystar for about 3 years/40k now.

Still no major signs of wear, still very waterproof and quite warm with its liner in.

A bit more casual than a winter jacket, being a bit shorter than bulkier items.

£250!!!

My first Bike Leather cost me £15 new! Only leaked on the seams and that was only when I'd be out in downpours for hours.

I'd still be wearing it if it wasn't for my drop earlier in the year I'd still be wearing it 7 years on from purchase.

This is what happens when you buy overpriced fashionable tat.

Rhino FTW!
