I got the letter through, done by a gatso near me. 50 in a 40, gutted, it was perfectly safe. Don't really want to go to court as they'll probably throw the book at me so I'll get hit with a bigger fine than the £60 and 3 points.

Anyway, how many points does everyone else have??

I had 3 which have now expired. Was for driving in accordance with a license (no L plates, well I had the bits left mounted where they had been snapped off by some idiot), annoyingly this was about a month before I passed my test.

3 points 3.5 years ago so I don't know if I still have them or not. Sent my license away last October and got it back without any points, 3 year mark was May this year. So have I still got points?

Just put through a hypothecial quote online changing all the dates to be a year from now, and my insurance is very reasonable, so I think I'll just take the hit.

Yeah I've been that way until now, my luck must have ran out, I just wasn't paying attention. I know it was there so slammed on the brakes, but not quick enough, I was doing about 60. Laughing

0, been caught a few times doing ban-able offences, but they never came through with court dates.

67 in a 30 on the rs125 and 90 on the motorway in the car, heard nothing from either, got the NIP too.

I've lost count...

My previous job involved lots of driving. I know I had 9 then got another 3 but never filled out the NIP thing, I just let it slide.

Haven't heard anything about it, its been over 2 years now. I've been stopped twice and put through the ringer (for not wearing a seat belt and for something else which escapes me.) Nothing was said on both ocassions.

3: Caught by an unmarked Police bike crossing a double white line whilst filtering past traffic near Arundel, on one of Sussex Police massive "safety crackdowns" during the summer.

Took long enough (got my first points in 2001), but as of april this year, i'm finally down to zero active points, though I have to wait until next april to take the endorsements off.
Highest I've been was 9.
