just tryed again and it says i dont have a compatible dvd decoded? anyone help?

because your missing the mpeg 2 decoder (doesn't ship with windows by default).

install this. reboot and try again

AceMega codecs your pc will then play any movie format available and all in windows media player aswell.

Codec packs are the devils work.

See post #2 below for what you want. You're interested in the MPEG-2 codec.

I think Vista worked strait away for playing DVDs. Could be wrong, though.
