Im looking at buying a 1998 CBR 600 off of my brother as he bought it about a year ago and has only used it twice.

What sort of price should I be looking at? Its got 17000 on the clock. Is there any known faults I should look out for etc etc?

How much? They're pretty bombproof bikes and 17000 miles is not a lot for that engine assuming basic maintenance has been performed (oil changes etc). I'm sure Itchy will be along singing its praises Wink .

not much £1300 tops , as said you can get an FX for £1700 these days which is quite a leap forward (bigger rear , different frame , less weight etc)
