Well started a new job today, at Dabs a computer Retailer in Westhoughton near Wigan. The job is quite interesting and the amount of foxy ladies that work there is ace, and also, the most chilled out and funny black lad called mussa who i work with is entertaining.

Then the smile was swiftly wiped off my face at 0900, get called into the Directors office to be told, he's reversed into my bike with His BMW :banghead2: so i have had to spend this morning getting a qoute to replace the top fairing and left handle bar and mirror bracket. I hope he's sitting down when i take the qoute to him later £270.

Dont know wether or not to make him pay the labour charge, or just get the money for parts and fit them myself, dont wanna look like a milking cunt.

Any suggestions!?

Tricky. You probably won't be thanked for it if you make the effort of doing all the fitting yourself to save him some cash.

Take it to a garage and get it quoted up in writing as an insurance job - if you just quote him for parts he probably won't beleive what they cost.

Just add a nominal amount of labour say £10 or 1 hour of your current pay rate to fix.

£170

Thats for

Top nose fairing

Mirror

Mirror and clutch lever handle bar bracket

Plust 1.5 hours labour, from ESB Bolton.

Decided, i'll fit the parts, just get him to pay for the parts, ESB take the piss with labour charges so im not going to take the piss with my boss.

As a director he must be loaded..so just claim for the lot.. Thumbs Up

doubt you're going to climb up the company ladder any quicker if you do him a favour by doing the work yourself, just to save him a few quid.

I usually have a policy: Never get 'personal' with a colleague.

Almost re-considered this recently but now she don't work there/here/at the same place. Twisted Evil

Looking at one of them today, it comes in a big bloody box !

And an update, i the parts came to roughly £77 then the labour was 90 odd. So got called in today and got handed £120 in cash and he couldnt be anymore nicer, genuinely nice bloke and good result. Thumbs Up
