Left the house this morning, didn't cover my bike last night. This is what I find:

https://www.realworldmotorcycles.org/images/Image014.jpg

It's gone mighty cold and my fingers almost froze on the way to work.

Gotta take a couple of customers out for a test ride in a few minutes too.

Roll on April...

Ooooo, nasty dood.

Was rather grateful for the car this morning, even if i had run out of screenwash, so by the time i got to work i was driving mostly on faith...

How long you been riding for?

You know its cold when the temperature hasn't been above freezing for over a week at least. Snow has turned to chunks of ice on the road and the gritters have given up trying because their diesel has frozen in their tanks.

Even your snot freezes before it reaches your top lip. Wink

Nearly went in the car today.

You know you shouldn't really be on the bike, especially since I saw 2 cars that had skidded in 2 each other this morning, due to the ice.

I've had both feet out at times on the ER5 today, just to correct in case of a slip. Not fun.

I like riding with ice on my saddle only a little less than with the sun on my back.
Enjoy it, better than rain.

Been there done that. Would I swap my car that has heated seats for a bike in winter?

Riding on snow can be fun even on a road bike but with all the injuries I've had that get aggravated by the cold riding a bike in winter just isn't an option.
