has anyone bought those ears for a helmet?

I have now purchased 2 sets of cat ears & tail and lost the bloody ears at less than 50mph. Is it safe to use any sort of glue to stick the things on with?

They're designed to do that. Such peripherals are actually illegal for any motorcycle that can exceed 50mph.

My mate's got some on his lid, and they've stayed on since he put them on, including a trackday where he was going somewhat faster than 50mph.

not using any glue either.

I had a stick-on bow on mine, as it was a pressie. I was sad when it blew off, although it lasted a surprisingly long time!

My mate has a mohawk and ive been on rides WELL over 50 mph lol innumerable times.

The cunting thing wont come off.

To me its an easy way for the layman to identify you.

Its not the loud tosser on a red bike and red leathers who shot past me... its the guy with a mohawk on a red bike.

Makes it somewhat easier to identify you.

KK, wouldn't use glue, all the "bumf" that's included when you buy a lid tells ya not to (does summat to the coating) - stick with a bit of spit & smack the ears on!!!! Laughing

The other half has them on her Arai and they have never come off, even at over a ton.

Worth noting her helmet is plain, some of the painted lids are not 100% smooth and may let air under the sucker.
