Fill your fuel tanks in the bike/cars before Saturday. As that's when the fuel blockade starts,

Its wasn't a lack of fuel that caused problems, it was people selfishly panic buying in the good old British way. |

McGee told me it's around $1.90 a gallon where he is (America somewhere)
Which I think is roughly 25p a litre..... |

Fuel in the UK is cheap only 28p a litre +(VAT & Duty)
But protestors are getting smart, the petrol station across the road was supposed to have a tanker come today it always comes on Wednesday , while I was there buying lunch (having dropped it on the carpet in work) , the guy at the till said his delivery had been cancelled by somebody..

Filled up my Vespa today £5 that will get me to work for 2 weeks and as I've only got 5 working days left this year and plan on getting drunk over the whole Christmas holidays that will be fine.
Panic buying is good as it will cause more disruption and make the protest more effective, well unless you need to get somewhere and then its just a pain. ____________________ Yamaha FZR400RR 3tj

For fucks sakes, really pisses me off this does. People moaning constantly about the cost of things, its winter, fuel prices go up due to demand.
Yes, the government taxes fuel quite alot, they always have done, so nothing is new there. I personally don't give a shit at the moment, 101.9p, which is the price round here really isn't alot, and we aren't the highest in europe either!
Striking doesn't help anything, all it does is causes problems for the average person, so we can't get to work, or buy food etc.
Striking in 2000 didn't work did it? All it did was make the government delay rising the tax on it thats all.
Its time we stopped relying on fossil fuels anyway, oil won't be around in abundance for too much longer anyway, and no doubt we'll be paying £3+ per litre when that happens.
Oh and I wish people would stop fucking moaning!!! There worse things out there to worry about than fucking petrol prices!

No, they tax what they think they can get away with. If they thought nobody would argue about 95% income tax, they'd do it. Why do you think the US told Britain to bugger off a couple of hundred years ago when they started taxing everything.
You do get a say in the matter, or at least you're supposed to, that's the idea of a democracy. If they stopped giving 50% of the population a free existence they wouldn't need to collect so much tax for a start. And if the 60 or so pence a litre I pay in tax actually went into the road network, rather than paid for some dirty fat pikey layabout to sit in his free council house drinking special brew, I wouldn't be so pissed off about paying it. But for a country that collects probably the highest fuel duty of them all, along with road tax we have the most appalling roads in Europe, and public transport. And still have to pay for several tolls that were paid off years ago. And very soon (despite a million person peitition) we'll have to pay for every mile of potholed, bumpy, shitty broken, subsiding road we drive on through a brand new tax aswell. And if traffic light construction continues at the current rate, soon you'll have to wait for a green to get out of your driveway.

Aye no taxation without representation,
Flip this to no representation without taxation,
As said if there was no dole there would be no such thing as council tax in the UK, as "social welfare" as the government puts it floats around the 140bn mark income tax erm income floats around the 120bn mark.
the 2000 protests DID work , if the protestors held on for another week/month it might have caused a vote of no confidence , and or forced the government to send in the heavies , which caught on camera is very bad publicity. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
