Just went out in the car and skidded whilst going over a metal grate, luckily I was going very slowly so it was all fine, but still all you bikers out there on two wheels be extra careful for the next few days because it's like an ice-rink down here in Essex!

Ive had ace fun today, icey as fuck, bedding new tyres in.

It just kept spinning up, im not used to it spinning up so it was fun to do something different than wheelies.

Very icy round me in Sheffield over the past couple of days, not noticed too much sliding around though - must be being too careful!!

The XR125 handles well on slippy surfaces though, not looking forwards to getting new tyres early next year!

My exit was blocked by a car that looked as if it had fish tailed into the barrier. Very white on the exit which is shaded.

What annoyed me though was the car wasn't actually in the road it was up against the left hand side barrier but the one copper had coned off the whole exit (2 lanes).

I indicated and looked at him hoping he'd let me nip through but no chance so i had a 10 mile wind chill ride to the next junction and back.

No it was a Traffic Cop.
I could understand one lane being coned off to allow space but both lanes was just stupid.
The car was 200 yds away.
I thought he might give me a break just to nip through on the bike but no such luck.
