BLack CG125. Found it abandoned near my house with the ignition ripped out, I've pushed it up my drive and rang the police station.

Just thought I'd post here incase anybody owns it, as I've seen it around localy quite a few times.

I'm hoping the coppers will contact the owner so they can come and collect it as opposed to them just impounding it seeing as Its now off the road. If they charge them £100 plus storage its hardly worth taking it back Confused

thats what happend with my 125.. it was worth 400.. police found it literally on the next estate, like 5 minutes walk. recovery company took it to a compound that was 10miles away, they wanted 120quid+ something something, I didnt have a trailer in the first place, so I just had to leave... I wish someone like you had just found the poor thing... meh

just checked and it's insured so owner must have contacted the police by now, give your local cop shop a ring and tell them.

Well I got a call back from the police station, apparently it hasn't been on the road for a few years so they can't trace the owner Eh?

The council are coming to collect it and dispose of it.

Just keep it for spares. Or sell it straight off on eBay as a recovered bike that was due to be chucked maybe?

Theres a few bob to be made off that bike, and I'm sure the previous owner would much rather have that then see it get 'disposed' of!

I have a friend who'd be interested in the seat and rear wheel.

Hmm, when you say black do you mean like "hammerite black" My CG was pinched a few months back, but they left me the plate, awefully good of them.
