Legal motorcycle age in South Africa (help please!!)

Hey guys, im the new guy Shocked

was just wandering if anyone on here could help me with a query about motorcycle law in south africa, or tell me where i can find info.

Im 16 and live in South Africa, and thus far have always known that at 16, only 125cc or less powerful bikes are allowed, but a friend recently told me that a new law was passed allowing 16-year olds to ride more powerful bikes, but i havent been able to find any info whatsoever on the net about legal motorcycle age at all Confused

so anyway if anyone can help me out here or point me in the right direction, id really appreciate it as im looking at a 2nd hand bandit 400 at the momont
