But my textile isn't vented and has a removable liner.

Textile trousers and jacket have enough space to wear clothes under them, my one piece doesn't so ride but naked, ergo, textiles warmer.

Depends on the textiles, my textiles are poo so ive recently been wearing my leather instead.

Baggyish textiles, with a thick thermal layer filled with wooly material are about as warm as it gets.
Theyre all fairly windproof, so having that decent thermal lining, or space for a microfleece layer is the key.

My textile bottoms are warmer then leather, so was my jacket.
But, because I have both I tend to wear leather - I just feel alot safer with it on

Not worn my leathers on the bike yet, but by looking at the fabric ventilation i'd say my textiles are by far warmer

Leathers are comfier though.

Depends on the style of leather - if you mean a close fitting race suit it will be cold, but textiles are a fairly recent innovation, before they came along you could be amply warm with woolly jumpers and such under leather jackets.
I have a sportex leather jacket with thinsulate lining which is warm enough with something like a sweatshirt under it until it gets so cold that ice is a danger.
Same applies to leather trousers.

When it's cold I put my textile jacket over my leathers which only have a very thin lining.

I find that thermals under the clothes work fine for either leather or textile.

Ok, on the subject of leather and textile, I havn't got anything yet (havnt started riding) but really want to get a leather jacket with textile trousers. I'm not too bothered about getting cold with leather jacket, i'll just wear a jumper underneath if needs be (and also i'm nails ) but was wondering how easy it is to dry out a leather jacket if it gets wet?

Obviously i'll apply lots of spray and anti-rain stuff on it but its not invincible so I wanted to know what its like when its wet. Cheers

yup textiles here too.
If it's cold it often means rain so I prefer my waterproof textiles over my leather.
Also theyre a bit more roomy to allow for layers if need be.
Layers are defo the secret to keeping warm.

Also as said my leathers are vented for summer wear and I tend not to be hooning in the winter months to need the leather protection as much as I do in summer.

Don't get me wrong I'd prefer my leather on all the time but I'd prefer to be warm, dry and focused over the extra thickness of leather on a cold shitty day.
