Well, I finally did it. After over 3 years the curse finally caught up with me.

Still, it did it in a gentle way. I lost the front on the frost at 5~10mph as I started to turn on my estate. Before I knew it I was lying on the road. Quite an odd place to be as well....

Damage to the bike: scuffed brake lever, scuffed bar end, scuffed exhaust, scuffed mirror/bracket.

Damage to me: bugger all. Although my leg is beginning to ache a little.

Still, the only people who saw me were 2 bin men, and one of them was a biker and he helped me up. Took me a while to bump start the bastard again tho. Rolling Eyes

oooopsie!

At least you managed to ride it again... I'm sure the scuffs help to enhance the aesthetic qualities of the bike.
Glad you're ok and crashed in a nice gentle manner.

I am sorry to hear that - thank goodness it was fairly minor! Scuffed exhausts are a bugger though arn't they?

Rolling Eyes Unlucky, at least it was a slow drop.

Today was the first proper frost we have had this winter I would say. I would have gone on the ts50 to college but the throttle had frozen open! So as soon as I bump started it off it would go dragging me along with its immense power....

Anyway, glad your ok and take it easy.

It wasn't the ice that made you fall off, with that much on you probably could not move.

All the best

Scratchs add charater to a bike, and marks on leathers / armour looks better... yeh it does you know!

Sorry to hear about your crash though.
Although i'm sure most the parts you have lieing about in the garage.

And if itsd a small scratch on the exhaust its nothing.... scotty remembers his rather unique can...

Glad you ok and it was only a small crash.

nothing like falling of at 70 mph, getting up to find your bike is still hurtling and spinning down the raod in a display of sparts Smile

(i can still have the clutch lever and gear lever though Wink )

I am mate, I am!

My arms and shoulders are beginning to ache now, although I'm pretty sure thats just from all the bump starting recently.

I really must get round to fixing the charging system... Rolling Eyes

Lucky you lot the front end at 5-10mph and not at a higher speed.
All riders have to take a spill, wether it takes 1 day or 1 year of riding.
You are exposed the the risk the moment you saddle up.

Hope you get back on track soon!!!
