So today on the bike i replaced:- Engine, oil, oil filter , oil cooler, spark plugs and the tyres. Expensive day but everything went together perfectly and the engine once started sounded awesome ( had a £500 rebuild)

I get onto the bike to take it out for a test and after about half a mile something didnt feel right, the back end seemed to be odd.

I get off and have a look at the tyre only to find a nail had gone through the centre of the tyre, hit the rim and come out through the side wall. Arses.

Get back home (very slowly) to find someone had reversed into my dads car and driven off! What a bad afternoon!

I can feel your pain, getting a nail in a brand new tyre is never nice. Happened to me in the cage, got some mean looking 3 inch long staple thing right through the shoulder and sidewall of a 15 mile old Toyo Proxes T1-R. Bummer!
Least the rest of the bike is riding spot on now.
