When I run over a kitten I found it to be a similar experience as hitting a brick/rock in the road.

My mates had countless cats/kittens and they always like to sleep on the wheels, so he goes out starts his explorer and if they don't move and he starts backing up theres a little kitty pizza when he gets home in the drive way.
