what does the care label say?

Most waterproof gear can be washed, but has to be drip dried (I work in a dry cleaners!!)

Ah right, got it now after Kitty Kat's post. The word 'hoy' and lack of question mark threw me.

Anyway, what KK said, read the label.

In the washing machine with some Nikwax tx direct wash in works really well.

Or just wash it as normal and spray with TX direct spray on.

There's probably other stuff but the Nikwax stuff works really well for me.
