Picture the scene.

dual carriageway, left lane with lots of traffic, right lane pretty clear with acellerating bike (me Smile ).

Car decides to pull out of the sideroad and to avoid getting shunted by the car he's just pulled out in front of, he dives into the right hand lane.

Cars in the left lane slammed on, I slammed on as I could see him coming across into my lane.

He clocks a sight of my headlight, hits the brakes (whilst straddling BOTH lanes) and dives back into the left lane, forcing the cars he's just cut up to slam on again.

I sail past with the horn blaring, then give the very british hand gesture for "do go away you knobber...."

Nutter.

K.

he obviously isnt a competent driver if he panicked and stopped. he should have swung the car across to the left lane again or just floored it out of your way (if he had a half decent car).

but atleast you (and your bike) are safe and un-hurt.

I see this quite a lot near me, it's so dangerous.

There are a few roads near me with this exact set up and people just seem to assume that the outside lane is clear! Shocked
