I know Toby R made a post on this about 9 months ago but I can't find it and I don't fancy wading through 9 months of Toby R to find it nor can I find a search word which is unique to that thread.

But what do you like to do after work? ,

I'm seriously bored here it seems all I do is work come home BCF for a bit watch a bit of youtube then go to bed, (Summers are different as I ride out alot more , but in winter obviously less). Oh and the fact I'm usually studying too which eats 2-3 hours a night but I'm, in a in-between exam period type situation.

(Currently waiting on 4 special tools to fix the CBR and the post is taking forever currently so can't fix CBR anymore than its current state and the NTV is pretty much fixed too).

So humour me what do you do in the evenings?.

Any thoughts?

At the moment being in London 5 days a week my evenings consist of going to the Wetherspoons, getting a pint in drinking it while looking at the menu I allready know off by heart. Order meal and another pint.

After I'm fed and watered I go to the off licence and grab some cans / fags and go back to the B&B and drink / browse the net and watch shit on telly.

See my daughter for half an hour or so before she hits the hay - put her to bed alternate evenings.

Cook dinner alternate evenings.

Do washing up alternate evenings.

Watch TV/go on BCF/play on the PS2/chat with the missus for the rest of the night.

In summer I would go out for a play on the bike, but since its laid up at the moment, and the conditions are rubbish, that don't happen.

At this time of year i dont do alot, everyones at work till 5 and i dont bike in this weather.
Might go to the gym or pub on friday thats about it.

When I did work, first thing was to wonder to the fridge and get a beer or a coke.

Wonder down stairs and log in on my pc, put beer/coke down and go for a sh!t.

Get into something like shorts and a t-shirt and chill for about 30 mins then consider going out on the bike and hanging with my homies. If we haven't already agreed on anything.

Do that then get in about 11 - 12am then cook something if we didn't go have a proper meal. Then go to bed.

Miss doing that in the UK really do.

Today I left college and filled up with petrol, when I got home I watched Scrubs with some pies Very Happy Then I went on Need for Speed Underground 2 for about 7 hours with a break for my tea which consisted of fish fingers and mash.
I'm really bored too, I keep asking father if I can buy a project bike off eBay for something to do but he says 'We don't live on a council estate, NO!!'

Can't wait till summer when I can go on ride outs and stuff!

Sometimes its home, food and then bed if I finish late it can be 10pm by the time im home and fed.

When work is a bit quieter its home, food, read my emails, do some order packing for my website and then ring the bread knife and/or browse the net.

3 nights a week are probably nights out though with 1 of them being through work more often than not.

Pretty much just work for me. Need to start going to the gym though, that is a definate!

Itchy, Gman, we should go for a pint if you're bored Laughing

Well as I've finished uni for xmas, my day consists of wakin up, lounge on sofa for a bit, fall asleep, wake up, watch scrubs and king of queens, piss about on sky+, piss about on net.

In that busy day i have breakfast, lunch, and dinner and 2 litres of water.

Bout it really, should probably be doing some essay writing but meh.

Monday nights, I have a scheduled game of RACE '07 on Steam and then watch a "Chuck" and "Heroes" starting at 8 o'clock.

Tuesdays I cook dinner so the lady can get to the gym for a bit and watch "Bones" at eight.

Wednesdays I usually try to get what little grocery shopping or banking has to be done out of the way before the weekend. And play some internet nerd gamez.

Thursdays I cook again and watch a little "Smallville", again at eight.

Fridays I have off so I usually stay in and game while the missus is off working. Once she's back, we usually go out to eat and indulge in some window shopping or something else equally boring.

Saturdays I do my best not to leave the house, but occasionally head out to take in a movie and/or grab something tasty for lunch. Also gaming is prevalent and compulsory.

Sundays my work week starts again and I'm off to the ranch. I usually grab a quick ride up and back on my favorite backroad, which is coincidentally right off my ride home from work. Dinner's usually ready when I get back. The American dream.

Oops. Almost forgot the copious amounts of ale drinking and game playing I do at every opportunity.

Well. For the last week I've been coming home at about 5pm. Having a kip until 8.30/9.00 then posting on the internet and fabricating a variety of lightweight camping stoves from improvised materials until silly o'clock.

These stoves are getting ever more elaborate and I fear I'm becoming somewhat obsessed by them looking for the 'perfect' design.

I spent three hours tonight destroying about four feet of microbore copper pipe and half a roll of solder. It SO nearly worked too!

This kind of thing. That's a 1p piece. This stove will boil two mugs of water in 7 minutes using 25ml of meths.

Not much at all, Xbox and PC mostly, sometimes Uni work. MSN is a real time killer, and so are DVDs.

Get home abouat 6.30

Put dinner in microwave

Play some pixel speedway, while watching hollyoaks

Go downstairs about 7.30, chat about random rubbish to the rest of the crew

Get bored about 9, get in the love wagon for a bit of car park sitting with a bunch of plastic loving, industrial size exhaust wearing, shell shaking bass loving, daddy's insurance living, 3k in debt, spotty 18 year olds.

Get in bout 11, play some more pixel speedway

Chat to the odd few people on MSN

Browse internet for a bit

Sleep.

Its boring, its repetitve, and un-fulfilling, but as soon as the snow comes i shall be attatching my old deck to my old trainers and going snowboarding at the back of the local pub Thumbs Up

Monday: Stop off to buy food for the week, then once I'm home go for a quick run, then cook dinner. This is likely to be something Mexican and spicy. Maybe, if I'm feeling prepared I will plan the Guide meeting for the following evening, if not I bash around on the piano/violin, listen to music and read.

Tuesday: I usually stay at work until 6pm so I can pick up Tori from town and go straight to Guides. Guides finishes at 8.30, I'll usually go and see my parents for some free food afterwards, so I don't get home until gone 11pm.

Wednesday: Climbing night, I meet Becky at the climbing wall after work and climb for an hour-hour and a half, sometimes we'll go for a pint afterwards if there's lots to gossip about. In the summer I'll potter in the garden while I'm cooking dinner. In the winter, I'll just spend more time cooking.

Thursday: Another late night at work and leave work straight to orchestra rehearsal which is in the same town as my work at 7.45pm (no point in my trying to get home). I get in usually around 11pm again.

Friday: Drinking night! Either off to see friends, out to a gig at the Rock Cafe at the bottom of the hill or out somewhere. I rarely get a free weekend Smile

Often at weekends I have concerts that I am playing in, going to, or am out seeing friends etc. Then it all starts all over again.

Seems like annabella is the only one here who actually has a life! Personally, I am much heartened by the fact the young, single people seem to do as little as I do. I had a perception that I was old and boring, if this thread is anything to go by, I'm just normal Smile
