 |

Been pondering on this for a while now...
I like decals and vinyls etc.. and im into graphics and art.
Should i spend £250 on a vinyl cutter with starter kit?
I have a small amount of ££ spare (which is strange over xmas) and im really really tempted.
This would save me ££ in the future as i can do my own decals and i'll be able to offer this as a service to mates and as a small on the side business.
Do you think ill ever see my ££ back and do you guys think its worth it?
I will be able to create t-shirts/clothing, vinyls/decals, paper cut-outs, card cut out's, signage etc...
Will be an A4 cutter.
Anyone used these before or do you think the market for vinyls is too flooded and ill make very little profit?

I bought a pcut one a while back as I do this stuff for a living. Mine is a large scale one which can cut 610mm rolls.
It is a lot of fun and you have the freedom to do whatever you like to your bike and it won't cost you a lot. If you get one you'll also have a lot of your friends coming to you and asking if you can cut this little thing and that little thing until you've decalled their entire bike as well! (Don't do rizla suzuki rep there's over 80 stickers on the full version - I know believe me!)
If you want a good website for vinyl then I'd suggest www.starvinyls.com.
If you wanted to buy the A4 sized one then these guys are fairly cheap for large amounts of vinyl and it can be cut to size really easily.
Hope this helps ____________________ Nothing a hammer can't fix! |
