Longest for me was 8 years. Split up from the ex in Aug 1985, stayed single until Aug 1993 when I met the current Himself.

I went out with people in that time but nobody that I fancied enough to make it worthwhile. Never been much for one-night-stands so I just didn't bother til I was ready.
