I have a feature on my Nokia N95 which allows me to use WLAN, which would include msn im guessing, i can download a program that would allow it.

Only problem is, i can connect to the school's one, yet i cant have the WEP key for security reasons.

My sister has a wireless laptop which she uses every night and my dad has a wireless laptop which he uses when his pc is upto no good.

I have searched for the WLAN on my phone and i cannot find it, my phone doesn't pick it up, i've even tried sitting right next to it and still no luck.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

It could be that your wireless router at home is hidden from public view? I guess your dad is in charge of the router? Ask him if he has it hidden and if he does get him to make it visible so you can connect to it.

Okay, my dad's a dipshit and gets other people to set stuff like that up.

So how do i unlock it to make it visible to public view then?

He's probably got the WEP key filed away too..

switch his pc on, access his router, start>run>cmd>ipconfig> copy the default gateway into the browser. e.g. 192.168.1.1 etc

admin
password he may have changed his login for his router.

go into the settings, switch it on create a new web key so you know what it is. etc etc
