hey there, i fooked up the other day while trying to service the bike in a rush and i stripped the thread out of the sump! Mad i have tried to re-tap the thread with no joy and found a few sumps on e-bay for £30ish... i was just wondering how much of a job removing the sump would be? im guessing the exhaust will have to come off so is there a new manifold gasket i will have to get and is there anything else i will need to replace after removing any parts?
Thanks guys Thumbs Up

Exhaust will have to come off. Personally I wouldn't bother with new exhaust gaskets.

Should be worth considering a new sump-gasket, though you might be able to blag that too if you're careful.

When i did the sump on my FZR it was pretty easy, undo all the bolts and undo the oil sensor and fit new one using either a gasket or instant gasket. piece of pish.
