Bad luck to the boys from The Darkness. They have just missed out being the Smash Hits Chart Number One for 2003.... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I thank God to no end that The Darkness didn't get this years No. 1.

Otherwise, we'd have to put up with their sheer annoyingness every single year for the rest of our lives. Frankly, I'd rather chop my gonads off then listen to The Darkness's shrill voices.

Proof that retro ain't cool. Vespa's and The Darkness. 2 retro things that need to fuck off and die IMO Razz.

ah yes, a cross between Sweet and Queen, i also would rather chop off your gonads than have to watch or listen to any of them. altho i rather think the singer with the darkness has had his blox removed already.....lets hope so as it would be criminal to inflict those genes on any one else.

I think that I have to agree with Syfoon on this one, both of these just suck and should go away, preferably into a little frozen hole somewhere in the Antartic, where they will never be found again.

Well if they are, i'll either be to old, or dead, so i won't care.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Donnie Darko dave, Donnie Darko!

I for one am pleased that this got to number one rather than the darkness. It shows some musical talent, it's proper music rather than messing about with guitars and amps.

If you watch the film you will end up loving the Gary Jules cover, it fits into the film perfectly.

Brilliant film, but very hard to understand without some background reading, it involves some stuff in the background about tangent universes opening up and things like that.

It got 8.3 on IMDB, which is very high! It's ranked 92nd best film in the world ever, by IMDB users, which is good considering the number of million films on there.

Nothing wrong with the darkness, they're giving guitar solo's a comeback.

Donnie Darko, one brilliant film! I've watched it about 5 times now and I still love it every time, though I must stress that if you have the DVD to watch the extra footage with comments as alot is revealed that you wouldn't otherwise understand.

I do like the Darkness - but their xmas song is shite! I'm glad that Mad World won it, as its at least something different to the normal pop shite. And its a much better song than dont let the bells end.
