took the bike to work this morning in the relatively warm and dry conditions compared to the past few weeks. Was really nice commuting (especially with the much nicer Arai lid rather than the old kbc) without all the traffic to dodge around and through.

Saw a few other bikers out on their new christmas presents Smile as well, took the bike for a wash (and seriously oiled the chain, it really needed it...) then pottered back to the office.

Bar the bugger of a cross-wind, it's a nice day to be out.. Smile

i went one junction down the m5 and had to lean into that crosswind for the entire journey, was not pleasant, i think you had it a bit better in the north though

Blustery as hell and light rain all afternoon down here, riding home wasn't much fun Neutral

Must add though, I took opportunity (Various winter bugs put a stopper on the family get together) on christmas day to go for a little blast in the afternoon. Save the booze for new years imho, completely empty roads made for the best riding I've had in months Thumbs Up

It was fucking scary wind wise here tonight. Bitterly cold wind ...fine.

But just savage gusts, so leaning into it not an option. It drops and you are in the other lane/barrier. Bloody hard work.
