Why would having your visor down make any difference ? ( I can't hear the sound ATM) so maybe I'm missing something here....

Voice over is saying rider had his visor up and a bug hit him in the eye. White car had aftermarket fairings on it which pushed the rider out of the road instead of going underneath the car.
