Not sure if I'd trust that everything would be cooked evenly?

I dont expect anyone who doesn't know the first thing about cooking would spend £600 on one roast. I'm not sure it would even fit in our oven. We've got a 3 bird roast for new years day. Very Happy

I think after 10 hours in the oven it would be cooked to perfection!
Feeding 125 people for £6 a head for Christmas is pretty reasonable too! Cool

A pub perhaps? A tenner a head would easily cover the cost of the roast and I bet they could easily get that on a regular sunday afternoon. I'm sure they could double that for xmas lunch.

Well I can't say what the 12 bird roast is like, but i've just had 3 bird roast for tea. We got an aldi 3 bird roast. Turkey, chicken & duck with layers of stuffing. A 1.5kg roast was £9.99.
While it was cooking this affy the aroma from the kitchen was gorgeous. was really making me hungry. The roast itself was stunning. well worth the money. Theres only me and the o/h so theres loads left so thats sandwiches sorted for work for the rest of the week. If you get chance get one. Highly recomended! Very Happy
