So.. a party at a friends house, nearly drove myself but had to test out my 50cl bottle of aftershock.

We get there via a lift, get out the car and over my shoulder is a very confused little old lady.. now its 8pm, in the middle of the night in a pretty questionable area and in clear site are a large group chavs..

Somewhere between us getting bottles out of the boot and going in side the rather confused octogenarian wanders in the house..

Hilariously my friends thought "we'd brought her with us" now, I've done some pretty bizarre stuff in my time, but kidnapping bewildered oaps and taking them to party's isn't something i have ever done or am likely to.

Shes shooed away quite politely, because when somebody you don't know wanders in your house its just what you do.

So after a short think and regrouping we decide letting little old lady wander about waiting to bimble into an unfortunate clockworkorrange situation wasn't cool. so invite her in and police are phoned while one or two of us make tea (all english emergencys are solvable with tea)..

We also find a hospital tag with an addess for a nurseing home 2miles away, sister gives them a call.. "oh yeh shes been gone a while, just chuck her in a taxi" ... its new years eve.. little old lady is going to be freaked right out by being thrown in a taxi with a bearded bloke who can also barely string a sentence together.

Utter fucking useless filthy fucking cunts Thumbs Down

Dorothy, we find out her name is, has Alzheimer's, had wondered off sometime in the day and ended up 2miles away in a dodgey area. didn't know where or when she was, she told us about her 6,7,9 year old kids (obviously grown up now) but was very pleased to be looked after "I'll remember this" she said, not aware of making the most ironic statement of the year, right in the last 3 hours of it!

I explained the men with maps will be arriving soon to giver her a free chauffeuring to her house.
One of the friends who lives there sister turns up and shed sat next to her at a bus stop before in an equally confused state a few weeks back.

Police turn up and there ye go.. hopefully they'll give the bastards at that money grabbing shitend run "nursing home" a good telling off..

Just thought I'd share, quire surreal.. but it does make you worry about the degenerate scum, as hetzer would say, running these places with minimum funding and complete blatantly negligent morons.

The evening continued in traditional party mode, the aftershock worked much merry making occurred.

If anyone found them selfs in an equally strange situation I'd like to read about it ^_^

We had a funny night...We went to see some friends in York and got invited to a house party, we only knew 1 person there. Anyway we turn up with a couple bottle of our home made moonshine (54%), and the house is more like a cocktail party that a house party, everyone in tuxedos drinking wine, well we soon changed that...by the end of it Miss York 2007 was downing a bottle of moonshine (she drank like a sailor).
This was all followed by a fry up washed down with a double Pernod.

drunk scottish guy in cafe - "whats it mixed with?"

My grandad had Alzheimers before he died and used to wander off from the nursing home.

Have some Karma for your good deed.

Very good deed mr.z you done, god knows what could have happened to her out there.
When I worked in a nursing home this happened once, the lady was found wandering around the street, someone forgot to lock the dam door as all staff have codes it was just left wide open. Lucky some knew her around the town and knew when was in the home and brought her back.
In another home I didn't work in near a man was sadly killed on the front shore my dad found him on his way to work, just across the road from the home to. He was killed by high winds and savage seas. So I am glad you took her in as there are scum around and there is no telling what lengths they would go to.

On a different note I also lived across from an alcohol detox center and people escaped from there all the time, pj's and all running through rivers and fields towards my house. They signed themselves in there not to be let out at all costs and most escaped. Bit scary that looking out seeing men in paisley pj's roaming about looking a drink.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL BCF!!!

Had a rather normal NYE myself, two of my mates were DJ’ing in a local bar, I had the usual, party powder, JD, tequila and a few pints of Stella. Ended up getting very merry, and then being asked to get on the mic for the announcement at midnight as I usually do. The barman was a bit of a rodney, he did moan at the start about my mates being paid to much but I think by now he had a few and I made the place get very ruckus indeed at 12pm.
From the bits I can remember after that, I was having fun, my last memory was of me and my mate sat on my best mates weights bench drinking tequila out of the bottle eating chocolate liquors.

Woke up at 12pm the next day on the floor at my mates flat, my left hand side paralysed, an empty bottle of tequila lying on the floor with some spacey tunes playing on the TV.
