Was thinking this today, private reg on car or bike, hmm i don't think there is any point in having it on my car as a clio is not very cool, and i like having the "m" reg on my bike as i love the fact that my bike is getting on a bit now.

They only mean anything to the person who bought it, can't see the point myself. If its one that stands out it also makes your registration number easier to remember to. Could be good, could be bad. Can think of better things to waste £500+ on.

Yes, it's pure sad twat territory.

...says the bloke whose V-twin 750 has V75 as the first line of the reg. It really was like that when I bought it.

Honest.

I ordered "R6 WTF" for my R6, but had to cancel it as I crashed the bike.

Absolutely awesome plate. I hope it's still available when we're both back up and running.

Oh and my mate was going to buy "R6 FTW", but when I had my crash, he never bothered (and it's now taken).

Imagine R6 WTF and R6 FTW both rolling into Box Hill.

Utter geeks. Laughing Thumbs Up

Could of sworn you had that plate in one of the pics in your first R6 thread. Or maybe is was FUCK YOU.

One of the two, either way i know it was gd. haha

There is a theory that a private plate offers some security benefits. A distinctive private plate is apparently less likely to get cloned and can be a good deterrent against casual theft.

Whats the problem?

Half the 'upgrades' available for bikes are completely unnecersary on UK roads.

Life is too short, if something makes someone happy without harming anyone else then where is the problem?

I reject the crypto-facist peer pressure to spend my life being cool.
