Hi there, I currently use ImTOO MPEG Encoder 3 for all my media file conversions and it works perfectly. It is however, just the trial version and as such only converts up to 5 minutes of material.

So I was wondering if any knows any good free unlimited file converters (long shot, I know), or could link me to a torrent for a decent one as I'm now at the stage where I need more than 5 minutes.

ImToo is perfect also, if your using torrents why not look for the full version. Wink

I did do a basic search. But I was hoping to find a quick download first as none of the torrents I found had m/any seeders and stuff etc.

But I can't get it to convert my movie. It keeps Error-ing at me. I expect I'll get there eventually. I hope so anyway. I desperately want V for Vendetta on my MP3 player!

M3 Encoder is the best I've used, but I'm having trouble digging the link up for you, it's what everyone on Esato uses.

They're all pretty much the same thing, just interfaces for some freeware command line encoders.

Not tested this link, virus scan before installing:

Thanks for everyone's help.

I used N30's link in the end. Now I finally have V for Vendetta on my MP3 player and it's absolutely pointless because the screen is tiny but Mr. Green.
