Just out of interest Jamie, what do you do as a job?

Back when I was 15, I was only on £11.50 a week - even when I was 17 and a part time cleaner, saving up for my 125 took ages.

I don't have a job.
I save any money I get for Christmas , birthday ect and spend it on my bikes. I don't waste it on drink like most "kids"

Jesus christ Craig, at that age, my dad would pay me a fiver just to wash the car Laughing

I wasn't so lucky unfortunately...even with Dad being an enthusiastic born again (due to me getting into biking), the only way I could have a bike (or even a PC or Playstation) at the time, was if I paid for it (and all the insurance, gear, tests, etc). Despite my advances in motor-vehicle-cleanliness (which far exceeds his attempts), he still won't let me clean his car (and it's only a Civic, far from a priceless Bugatti or something).

He was, and always will be, a git. Wink

I remember having 3 jobs at one point so that I could afford my 400/4 (and the extortionate restrictor kit certificate).

Enjoy the new project Jamie.

Indeed , I get much more excitement and fun spending £5 on fuel in my bike and going out for a ride for 4 - 5 hours than spending £5 on booze that takes, what, a few minutes to drink..

Yes, for what bike it is. At the end of the day it's only ever going to be like any other GS500 on the road.
But theses two bikes once done will be one of a kind.
I have got a lot of plans for these two , which will be revealed once I get back from getting them tomorrow.

We all know thats not true Very Happy Once you discover alcohol and start to get a custom the taste you can't get enough.

Give it a year or 2 and you'll be drinking like a trooper Thumbs Up (altho you may need more like 50 quid not 5 Laughing )

Good luck on the projects Thumbs Up

I think Jamie will be a social reject, not going to school means a lack of friends.

Thus meaning he won't get into stuff till a few years later. Such as booze and girls.

He will be about 18 when he first feels a boobie thats not his own.

Jamie, seriously, stop putting down having money to not drinking like 'kids'. Drinking takes no money at all; sure it takes a few mins to drink, but it's what comes after i've just realised i now sound like an alcoholic so i'll stop here Laughing

Good luck with the bikes, have fun Shocked That sounds sarcastic, but I'm sure you will learn a lot Thumbs Up
