Just to wind up a lad i know, he thinks theyre real and has bidded, but so have 2 others.

But the funniest part is the emails i've been having.

"hi mate where do i put it?"

"whats the buy it now?"

"how much is postage to the isle of man"

"do you have any pictures" etc.

so far its at 11 quid!

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300188392438&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling

I think when the auction finishes ill just send an elastic band with "power" written on it.

Laughing

It has been done before and done better.

With a bit of imagination that could have been very funny. I remember seeing a guy selling one for his 50 which he claimed did over 120mph on a journey from London to Paris.

If you're going to post a joke auction, you may as well give people a chuckle. Maybe making some totally outrageous claims as to what it does and a couple of pictures/graphs or whatever.

I once sold a short circuit for £6.20 on Ebay.

It was only a quick 10 second listing, just to make this lad fall for it, wasn't intended to be a funny auction!

One of the questions asked.

Q: do you have any differnt colours? if so do they affect the speed?
A: I have one blue one and a pink one left! Blue is better for wheelies but everyone knows Pink is fastest!

My mate once sold a picture of a Gamecube, and he stated that it was just a picture of the console not the console in the listing.. someone bought it for 60quid... well obviosly he got emailed it being a joke... but I have heard some harsh cnuts actually charging people for pictures of consoles and etc...

Thats like the old "Xbox box" trick. People read it so quickly and just saw it as what they wanted that they bidded. Then were surprised when just the box came through the post Laughing

if your referring to the article in a gaming magasine a few years back, then that would be my friend Lee who did it...
