It's just cost me another days pay cos the damn thing ain't working!

I've been bump starting it for a couple of weeks now cos the starter's buggered, except tonight it wouldn't go.

Basically, the clutch ain't engaging, so I can't push it in gear and if i run with it and knock it into first pulling the clutch in doesn't do anything. Ideas?

Also, most of time when its not running and I knock it down into first it doesn't actually engage, it still seems to be in neutral.

Damn thing!

Noooo! he Can't get rid of the wee NSR125F.
Probably just needs a few clutch bits.

I know i'm keeping mine! Very Happy
Forever, (or till i crash it and end up selling parts...)

Sides, its not that much of a problem as long as its fixable its not that bad!
And even a whole new clutch kit won't set you back that much...

I do plan on getting a new one. However, 2 things stand in my way.

1) Lack of a license.
2) Lack of cash.

If you would like to donate to the McJamweasel's New Bike Fund then please do. Razz

I could see you a lovely NSR125F, that works nicely, apart from a few bent bits, for a bargain price Wink.

Hmmm

NSR125F (spares for you Wink) The main probs are:
Bent forks (repaired for £30-£40, or about £70 from a breakers).
Dink in the rear wheel (shouldn't be too much to replace.. or if you take it to somewhere that isn't the strictist MOT place in Town should pass)
Rear Suspension bushings (Should be gettign a new unit off Zimm, dunno if it'll fit, for not /too/ much).

Unfortunately it's got a set of new BT45s on that cost me £150.
Therefore I'd probably be looking at about £500.
Though if you came down with £450 and a trailer I'd probably let it go.

Not quite the bargain you're looking for, but then you could stick the shiney new tyres on your bike (done 4 miles on them) and give him some old ones Smile.

Well tires and wheels i have lying about at the moment.
Bushings, bleh... who needs them.
What they do anyway Wink thats your stoppies for you!

Main problem would be bent forks.
And i don't supose they would fit in the new ones, As colin has a set spare which i'm sure he'd sell for some equaty Wink

But i really can't see him bothering with all that.

But i do hear Jack is selling of his NSR?

Hi

Well, if you want the NSR then you can borrow the bike trailer to pick it up.

We really must get round to putting a tow bar on one of the cars.

All the best

Keith
