my son had an accident in his car recently, another car shunted him from behind and the driver has accepted responsability to his insurance co. after getting a quote to repair his car the bodyshop put him in touch with an accident management company called QDOS Accident Assistance who will manage his claim fully. Today the other drivers insurance co. phoned my son offering to deal with the repairs and any injury claims directly, both he and his girlfriend suffered whiplash and direct line (the other drivers ins co.) advised them to go and get hospital reports and they would deal with it.
my question is: who should we deal with, the management company or the other drivers insurance co. as i am concerned that the management co. could be bit of a con.
i know it's not bike related but any replies would be really helpful and might help bikers in the future, thanks |

Are your sons ins co not dealing with the claim ???
Failing that does he have legal cover ? Or you with your house ins.
I bet that the bodyshop are getting a kickback for sending him to that company.
A google search shows strongly a hint at > [bd] club bodyshops commission terms < ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

Your insurance should provide these services anyway, sounds like the accident management co youve been refered to is trying to poach itself some new business. Notify your insurance, and they will deal with directline for you. its what you pay your big premiums for ____________________ I kills hondas
