Mortgage has finally gone through and I can finally move out of the damp ridden flat. hate it so bad I was even embarrassed to bring people round.

it's not that far away from where I live, built on the A50 so easy for me to get work. 3 bedrooms, double glazed all round, fitted kitchen.

just need to get sky, telephone, broadband sorted. Cool

will probs be moving in tomorrow so you won't see me for a few weeks.

will get some proper photo's when i'm in. Cool

PS you'll probably only know me if you've been to the Geek Section Laughing

I'm thinking of buying my first house this year. I know it's personal but would you mind sharing how much you paid for it?

Where i live a one bedroom house with no garden is going to set you back around 180k, 2 rooms and a small garden 200k, 2-3 bedrooms and a half decent sized garden 220k+

I wouldn't mind paying like 180k for a property but where i live you get fook all for that. I can't believe the prices of some places.

It does look like a very nice place for a first home. Well done. Thumbs Up

Stoke is notoriously cheaper for housing, im in a shithole called bolton and a two up / two down mid terrace with plenty of work needing doing (£10k + worth of work) set me back £90k Sad

Thats very tidy mate. Officially Jealous Razz

I used to live in Stoke and my friends were buying up their 3 bed council houses for 26K just a few years back. Wish I had been in a position to have done the same.

I finally bought my first house last year at 24 and it's the best thing Ive done. It costs me a fortune and it needs a lot of work but there's a lovely warm feeling knowing it's yours Smile (well the banks, but you know what I mean Wink )

You've done well there N30. always good to put you're money in bricks and mortar, and as you don't look to have been overcharged should get you nicely on the property ladder.. Well done
