Any good? I want the solid black one but I'm a bit put off by it being bottom of the range and not having a removable lining!

Anyone got one? What are they like for noise? They're bloody comfy... Should I dig the extra out for the Viper GT?

All Arai shells are the same, they just change the venting and lining (i.e. removable or not).

Arai's are fairly noisy imo, must always wear ear plugs on longer rides. The vents in the visor and the side pods cause this. Otherwise theyre great. I'm going to get another Arai, but maybe a higher up one than the Condor purely because of colour options.

I bought the Condor a few weeks ago! and i am so impressed with it, its like wearing a pillow! as for being noisy i dont really think it is, its alot quieter than my old Shark helmet...only problem was its steams up really easy...but i just bought a Foggy anti fog thing you Velcro inside! looks better and solves the problem! but 10/10 for quality!

Arai shells are meant to be different which makes it even more confusing for those that are looking to get a lid. But having tried the condor, chaser, viper and corsair, i didn't notice much of a difference between the shells. But when i tried the astro J/R it just felt looser. They're all good lids, i say just get one that you feel the most comfortable in. In all honesty, i loved the viper but the Corsair Nakano was the one I always wanted.

got a black condor, has to be THE best helmet I've worn. Had it for 2 years now, just crashed in it and going to replace it with another.

No noisier than any other lid ive tried, damn comfy and fairly light. Also looks menacing in black with a black visor!
