Hi

Indeed we are probably worse off than the Aussies as far as getting hammered for irrelevant motoring offences.

All the best

You know what? if any party took on this as their way forward ( and kept their word) they may get my vote. But that will never happen

Makes you wonder why pick on the 3rd highest in the list ?

Work related is the highest followed by suicide....

Ok suicide is hard to tackle, but work related that should not be too hard to bring down a good bit, but guess that big buissness would not like that, so its onto No 3 and the everyday joe public.

While i agree with a lot of it, i did notice the following suggestion...

Quote:
Build new roads and re-engineer existing dangerous roads.

You can probably substitute "interesting" and "twisty" and "fun" for "dangerous" in the above sentence, and thats something i really dont want, most of the interesting roads I've been on were originally cart tracks and so on, i dont really want to live in a nation of straight point-to-point roads...

Some people have to be contrary eh? Very Happy

You will proberly find more fatal crashes on long straight roads than the lovely twisties.
Straight = boring and sleep inducing
Twistie = Fun and fully concentrated riding/driving
