Yo all.

I'm going to be buying a new graphics card soon, budget of about £50. Any recommendations?

I don't need TV out or multi monitor support. Its going into an Athlon 2600/512MB system.

I've got an FX5200 128mb and that's pretty darn good for the money.

Go for ATI radeon if you can-they seem to offer more bang per buck for the newer games than the Nvidia option.
I went for a radeon9600 pro a couple of months back and was not disapointed!
Just have a look and see what bargains are around.

If thats the radeon geforce then i ve got that too

for £60 quid whatever it cost its brilliant i think! very very nice graphics from any decent game especialy moto gp 2 and vice city!!

Yams, GeForce and Radeon are different brand names, you can't get a Radeon GeForce card Razz.

Personally, I'd go for the Radeon cards, can get some pretty cheap, good cards with it. Try the usual places like eBuyer, Overclockers and even eBay.

Erm, I think its a geforce then! But the website said radeon Rolling Eyes No idea! But its a 5200 and it's pukka, so whatever it is, it's worth it!

nvidia, thats the one i don't know where i got radeon from but i meant nvidia geforce fx5200!

I've got a radeon 9200 128mb and it does its job, good graphics, i think it was about £40 or something like that. I would think you could also get a geforce 2 pretty cheap now or geforce 3, because they have brought out the geforce 4 and another new one but i'm not sure of the name.
