Actually there is some truth to the menacing side of the Hells Angels. But yea, most people will use this to their advantage against us 'nasty' bikers Mr. Green

Great isn't it.

Yeah but do you know much about the Hells Angels to think that they are wrong. They don't exactly have the best reputation in the world. But I'm sure its just a case that it's just a minority of them that are criminals and that they are all being stereotyped.

I've watched documentries and interviews with their leader (this is in the U.S btw) . That doesn't sound much but it's probably more than your average Joe will know about them. Still, I wouldn't want to be standing in one of their bars when a turfwar kicks off Razz

A fight over a piece of turf. Over there (US) grass is kept as a sign of masculinity. Sometimes a rival gang will try to steal another gang members square of grass (turf) and a turfwar will begin. Using daisies.

Yeah I know, but for some reason it didn't click and if you had made a serious comment about people chucking bits of astroturf at each other I'd probably none the wiser Laughing Embarassed Rolling Eyes

So anyways has anyone had much experience with the Hells Angels?

Hi

Used to be a Hells Angels chapter just round the corner from us (about half a mile away). Never heard of any problems with them, and even occasionally saw a bike there.

All the best

Keith

Canadian Hells Angels... eh Razz. They weren't all that bad to be honest.

Although I've seen Hells Angels here run 'peds off the roads.

But, honestly, who doesn't want to do that?

Was in Vancouver on hol in 2002, and we saw a few hells angels riding around Vancouver island, my mate has relatives over there and one of them is a Canadian Mounty/police officer. He says that they do give the law some trouble from time to time, but most of their shootings/deaths and violence is gang related, between themselves. Sure there is some element of underground criminal activity, but then that goes for most gangs be it hells angels or otherwise. He did say that the main regular problems they have are related to traffic offences, and riding with open pipes, making too much noise, though i think they are more tolerent to loud pipes than we are.

There's a program on Sunday called 'thisworld' at 9pm about these Hell's Angels. Should be an interesting watch.
